You need big shoes (wink wink).
I have a girlfriend who is possibly as shopping savvy as I am. She is a deal finder and splurges all at the same time. Today she asked me to post about finding large shoes. I about fell over when she told me that she wears a size 11 or 11.5. Thank God my size 10 feet were well planted on the ground. She made a really valid point, a lot of retailers don't carry large sizes. A few weeks ago I told her about 6pm.com. 6pm is the close out site for Zappos and they have a great selection and generous return policy. However, if you don't want to deal with online shopping or online returns, I recommend shopping at the mothership of shoe stores, Nordstrom.
My friend is tall, taller than I am, and I know that she doesn't wear heels. She is also pretty shoe conservative. So this post is catered to her, but also includes some good alternatives that hopefully add enough spice for the rest of you, and possibly some fashion inspiration for my friend. All of these can be found online or in store at Nordstrom.
