I remember my first Friends and Family sales event at the Gap. It was back in the day when you actually had to be a friend or family member of someone who worked at the retailer. I remember buying a pair of men's jeans and my mom was furious. Everyone has made progress since then. Now you don't have to have any relation at all to take advantage of this type of discount.
